چکیده
Ultrasonic vibration cutting (UVC) is an advanced machining method used to improve performance and surface quality in the manufacturing industry. However, separation characteristic disappears when speed exceeds maximum speed, which limits its wide application high-speed machining. Therefore, this study finite element (FEM) (HVC) processing of titanium alloys. High-speed a precision with smaller depth feed rate, so it necessary consider influence edge radii on process. The impact traditional process are discussed. results show that change minimum uncut chip thickness caused by changing during has significant experimental results. In addition, simulation model was established, comprehensive numerical analysis comparison cutting, ultrasonic conventional (CC) were performed tool wear, temperature, force, stress distribution. indicate wear up three times cutting. weakens radii, but new did not significantly reduce temperature under dry conditions.

متن کاملEffects of Friction and Cutting Speed on Cutting Force
Observations are made regarding the influence of cutting speed and friction on cutting force by way of finite element modeling. Simulations are validated by comparison of cutting forces and chip morphologies for the Al6061-T6. Analysis of cutting forces over a wide range of cutting conditions suggests an important role of the secondary shear zone in the decrease of cutting force as a function o...
